Popular Nigerian skitmaker Isaac Aloma, widely known as Ziczaloma, has opened up about how family pressure and financial expectations delayed his journey to financial independence.

Speaking in a recent video, the content creator said that entitled attitudes from relatives affected many of the businesses he started while growing up. According to him, constant demands for financial support made it difficult for him to save and build wealth.

Ziczaloma stressed that anyone who truly wants financial freedom must learn to set firm financial boundaries, even with close friends and family members.

“I did a lot of business while growing up, but most of them failed because of family,” he said. “African families and even your own relatives can feel entitled to your money, even when you are trying to save and build a better future.”

He added that being emotionally attached to everyone’s needs can slow down personal progress.

“It is very okay to be financially heartless sometimes, even to friends and family, so you can save and break that circle. They may hate you for it, but trust me, it’s for your own good,” he said.

His comments have since sparked conversations online about money boundaries, family responsibility, and financial independence.
