Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s leading airline, has been honored with multiple awards at the 35th Anniversary of Zambia Airports Corporation Limited.

During the grand celebration, Ethiopian Airlines was recognized for its “Exceptional Commitment” and “Outstanding Partnership” in the overall award category, underscoring the airline’s pivotal role in driving aviation excellence in Zambia.

These awards highlight Ethiopian Airlines’ dedication to providing seamless travel experiences for passengers traveling to and from Zambia, connecting the nation to its extensive global network of 139 destinations.

The airline has been instrumental in supporting Zambia’s aviation sector, particularly in both passenger and cargo services.

In a statement, Mr. Mesfin Tasew, Group CEO of Ethiopian Airlines, expressed his gratitude for the recognition: “We are honored to receive these prestigious awards from Zambia Airports Corporation Limited.

The airline received the Star Wide Awards 2024 for “Efficient Service Provider Government Organization Sector of the Year” following public voting, which acknowledged the airline’s exceptional service and operational performance.

Moreover, Ethiopian Airlines was presented with the “Outstanding Tourism Transportation Award” at the African Tourism Leadership Forum in Gaborone, Botswana, celebrating its significant contributions to tourism transportation across the continent.
