Country music icon Dolly Parton has postponed her highly anticipated December 2025 Las Vegas residency at Caesars Palace, citing health reasons.
The 79-year-old singer-songwriter revealed on social media late Sunday that her doctors had advised her to undergo “a few procedures,” though she did not disclose further details.
“It must be time for my 100,000-mile check-up, although it’s not the usual trip to see my plastic surgeon!” she joked, keeping her signature humor intact.
Parton explained that she would be unable to rehearse and prepare the show her fans deserve, but confirmed that the rescheduled performances would now take place in September 2026.
The Jolene and I Will Always Love You hitmaker reassured fans that she would continue working on projects in Nashville during her recovery.
“And don’t worry about me quittin’ the business,” she added. “God hasn’t said anything about stopping yet.”
Parton, who rose to superstardom in the 1970s with songs like Coat of Many Colors and 9 to 5, remains one of the most influential figures in American music and entertainment.
