The emotional message was posted via his official X account on Monday, July 22, 2025, at 9:39 p.m. Davido simply wrote:
“Ifeanyi David Adedeji Adeleke RIP LEGEND!!”
This marks one of the few public times Davido has directly addressed the tragic loss since Ifeanyi’s passing in November 2022. The three-year-old, his first son with wife Chioma Rowland, reportedly drowned in a pool at their Banana Island residence, an incident that shocked the nation and sent waves through the entertainment industry.
