Adeleke Davido, popularly known as Davido, has unveiled his debut festival, “Davido & Friends,” set for Friday, August 14, 2026, at the Crystal Palace Bowl.
Announcing the festival on his X handle, the award-winning singer, also known as OBO, said, “For the first time ever, I present to you… Davido & Friends Festival. It’s going down at Crystal Palace Bowl on August 14th.”
The festival is part of the “Palace Bowl Presents” summer series, an eclectic lineup of outdoor performances running from July 31 to August 16, 2026. Davido will headline and curate the full-day lineup for his dedicated festival date, with a selection of “friends” slated to perform, details of whom are yet to be announced.
The announcement follows Davido’s 2025 5IVE Tour, which promoted his fifth studio album, 5IVE, across Africa and Europe. The tour saw performances in major Nigerian cities including Akwa Ibom, Adamawa, Enugu, Ibadan, and Lagos between October and December 2025.
Fans can expect a celebration of Afrobeats culture and a star-studded day of music, marking Davido’s first foray into festival curation.
