MultiChoice Nigeria has officially announced that the highly anticipated 10th season of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) will premiere on July 26, 2025, beginning with a double launch weekend on July 26 and 27.
At a press briefing on Wednesday, organisers revealed that this season will feature the biggest grand prize in the show’s history—a whopping ₦150 million, up from ₦100 million awarded in the previous season.
Fan-favourite host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu will return to helm the show, marking another milestone in his celebrated BBNaija journey.
During the event, Ebuka reflected on the show’s legacy, noting that since its debut in 2006, BBNaija has aired for 709 days, featured 197 housemates across nine seasons, and distributed ₦637 million in prize money.
Last year’s “No Loose Guard” edition introduced a unique twist: housemates auditioned and entered the house as pairs, later competing as individuals. Kellyrae emerged as the winner, becoming the first married contestant to win the show and taking home ₦100 million.
This year, organisers brought back physical auditions, which took place between May 16 and 18, raising expectations for a fresh lineup of housemates and surprises.
With Season 10 poised to be the biggest yet, fans are bracing for new twists, intense competition, and unforgettable entertainment as Nigeria’s most popular reality show returns to screens nationwide.
