BASL’s Remi Jibodu to Speak at ABSE 2025 on Airport PPP Prospects

The terminal is widely recognized as a successful case study in Public-Private Partnership (PPP) implementation within the Nigerian aviation industry.

Mr. Remi Jibodu, Acting Chief Operating Officer and Head of Aeronautics and Cargo at Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited (BASL), has been confirmed as a distinguished guest speaker at the 10th Airport Business Summit and Expo (ABSE) 2025.

The three-day summit, scheduled for July 15th–17th, 2025, at the NIGAV Expo Centre, Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, will explore key themes under the topic: “Investment Opportunities in Airport Public-Private Partnerships.”

Mr. Jibodu will deliver a presentation titled “Airport Public-Private Partnership: The Prospect and Challenges” on July 16th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. His 30-minute address will be followed by a 10-minute interactive Q&A session.

BASL, the operator of Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal Two (MMA2), has been at the forefront of airport concessions in Nigeria for over 18 years.

The terminal is widely recognized as a successful case study in Public-Private Partnership (PPP) implementation within the Nigerian aviation industry.

Mr. Jibodu’s talk is expected to provide practical insights drawn from BASL’s experience, highlighting key factors behind sustainable PPP success in aviation.

His contributions are set to guide stakeholders on how to navigate the complexities and unlock the full potential of PPP models.

The ABSE 2025 will host a distinguished lineup of attendees including the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr. Festus Keyamo, the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Dr. Ibrahim Abubakar Kana, and several State Commissioners of Transport, aviation agency heads, and industry executives.

BASL reiterates its commitment to supporting industry development and looks forward to engaging discussions that can catalyze future airport investment in Nigeria.
