Arsenal’s Max Dowman to Miss Two Months with Ankle Injury

Young England attacker sidelined after friendly against Manchester United.

Arsenal have been dealt a setback ahead of their Champions League clash with Club Brugge, as Max Dowman is set to miss the next two months with an ankle injury.

The news was confirmed by David Ornstein of The Athletic, who reported that Dowman sustained the injury during a friendly against Manchester United. The 15-year-old England youth international suffered ankle ligament damage, but is not expected to require surgery.

Ornstein shared on X:
“Max Dowman expected to be out for approximately 2 months after suffering ankle ligament damage. 15yo England youth int’l attacker injured in challenge by opponent in #AFC friendly v Manchester United  but anticipated surgery not required.”

The young attacker’s absence is another blow to Arsenal’s development squad and youth prospects, coming ahead of important fixtures in domestic and European competitions.
