AC Milan have completed the signing of Ecuador international Pervis Estupinan from Brighton & Hove Albion, with the left-back penning a five-year contract, the club announced on Thursday.
The 27-year-old defender becomes the latest addition to Milan’s squad revamp following a disappointing 2024/25 Serie A campaign, which saw the Rossoneri miss out on European qualification for the first time in a decade.
Estupinan made 104 appearances for Brighton after joining the English side from Villarreal in 2022. Known for his pace and attacking flair, he is expected to slot straight into Milan’s starting lineup under returning manager Massimiliano Allegri.
“I have enjoyed working with Pervis and he has made a significant contribution to the club during his time here,” Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler said in a farewell statement.
“He is at the stage of his career when he wants a fresh challenge and this opportunity to play in Serie A gives him that. I’d like to thank Pervis for his contribution to the club and wish him all the best for the future.”
Estupinan joins a growing list of high-profile signings by Milan this summer, including Croatian veteran Luka Modric, as Allegri looks to restore the club’s domestic and European pedigree.
