Nigerian international Victor Osimhen is reportedly on his way to the Premier League, with fresh reports claiming the striker has agreed to a five-year deal with Manchester United.
The 26-year-old, currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, has lit up the Turkish Süper Lig this season. He has scored a remarkable 29 goals and provided six assists in just 34 appearances, pushing several European giants into a scramble for his signature.
According to Turkish journalist Aygun Ozipek, Osimhen has sealed a deal worth £51 million with the Red Devils, and will earn £12.8 million annually. Fellow Istanbul-based reporter Ahmet Konanc added fuel to the fire by posting a simple yet powerful statement on social media: “Osimhen signs with Manchester United.”
Despite the striker’s successful stint at Galatasaray, he is still contracted to Napoli. With just two months remaining in Turkey, Osimhen will soon return to Italy for key discussions about his future.
A long-time target for Manchester United, Osimhen’s arrival would directly address the club’s ongoing struggles in front of goal. His dynamic style, physical presence, and consistent scoring record make him a dream fit at Old Trafford.
United fans will now be eagerly awaiting official confirmation of what could be one of the biggest transfers of the summer window.
